Nice to meet you! My name is Sonali, I’m a senior at UCSD eager to sharpen my skills.

I can't leave a good “Why?” alone. Hand me a strange number, a messy dataset, or a business problem that isn't quite adding up, and I'll happily disappear down the rabbit hole until it makes sense.

I grew up in the Bay doing this to everything. Why does this work this way, and is it already working the most optimally? That itch is why I kept collecting fields: math, computer science, business, data, and they all turned out to be different tools for answering the same question.

I picked up associate degrees in applied math and computer science, then went deep on data science at UCSD. Along the way, everything taught me something. Accounting showed me how money and operations really move, tutoring taught me how to make a hard idea click, and consulting taught me how to turn a mountain of research into one clear recommendation. Product and data work is where all those instincts finally get to play together and more importantly where I get to keep feeding the curiosity that started it.

My recent obsession: AI tools that help people make better decisions, products where AI supports human judgment instead of replacing it, and data that tells a legible story instead of dying in a dashboard. I'm currently open to analytical roles in business and data, especially the ones building with AI.

Off the clock I will talk about football (or soccer) with anyone, anywhere, for longer than is reasonable. My favorite teams are Madrid and ManU. If I'm not watching then I'm playing tennis, painting, or Claude Coding.

Currently I am open to Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and product roles.
